New Persona 4 Anime Trailer Streams

The official website for the upcoming Persona 4 Animation project has begun streaming a new promotional video. Similar to the past promos, the new one is view-able for a limited time. The anime will be premiering on MBS, TBS, and CBC in Japan in October.

Shihoko Hirata, who performed the original opening and ending for the game, will also be performing the theme songs for the anime. "sky's the limit" will be the opening theme, while the ending theme, "Beauty of Destiny", will be performed with Lotus Juice. 

Based on the original PS2 game released in 2008, Persona 4 will be directed by Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!) and is animated b AIC Asta. Persona's concept designer Kazuma Kaneko and original character designer Shingenori Soejima will be reprising their roles from the game. They will also be joined by Shoji Meguro as musical compser. The cast includes Daisuke Naimikawa, Showtaro Morikubo, Yui Horie, Tomokazu Seki, Kappei Yamaguchi, Ushuou Ishizuka, Akemi Kanda and Mitsuaki Madono. 

Persona 4 follows a player-named protagonist who attends a high-school after moving into the country from the city for a year. During the year, he investigates a variety of murders while using the power of summoning the Persona.

Nozumi to Release New Low-Priced Gakuen Alice on DVD

 

Nozomi Entertainment announced today that a new, lower-priced litebox version of Gakuen Alice will be released on November 1st.

The series will be released in a litebox keepcase and will be featuring the original Japanese audio, English-language subtitles and an English on-screen translation. Extras for the series will include liner notes, character bios, a textless opening and closing, and Nozumi Entertainment trailers. 

Originally created by Tachibana Higuchi, the series is 26 episodes long and features Takahiro Omori (Hell Girl, Baccano!) as director. Gakuen Alice follows two friends Mikan and Hotaru. When Hotaru is scouted for the school "Alice Academy", Mikan become determined to enroll. But when she discovers that explosions, superpowers, giant baby chicks and axe-wielding teddy bears are almost the norm there, she has no choice but to tough it out because once a student enters the academy, there's no escape.

Today, July 23rd, Eugene and Ki Tae Young were wed at the Seoul Central Church in Anyang, Kyungki-do. Big Bang's Taeyang was present at the event and was said to have sung during the ceremony.

The two began dating in January of 2010 after the conclusion of their MBC weekend drama, ‘Making a Lover‘. The two had actually attended the same church, and after a year and a half of dating, finally decided to tie the knot today. The couple will leave on the 25th for their honeymoon in Europe.

Last week we told you that Miyavi added North and South America to his “WHAT’S MY NAME? WORLD TOUR 2011”. Today he released dates and venues for this leg of the tour.

The “NORTH & SOUTH AMERICA CIRCUIT” will be a continuation of Mivayi’s “WHAT’S MY NAME? WORLD TOUR 2011“, which took the rocker to Japan and Europe earlier this year. The American leg will kick off in California on October 20th and wrap up in Argentina on November 15th.
