KARA Set To Surpass BoA in Japanese Digital Sales

 

Of all the Korean acts to break into the Japanese market, KARA has been the most successful since BoA first came to Japan 11 years ago. The group is set to surpass BoA shortly however.

During her Japanese career, BoA has had 3.65 million digital record sales. In just a year, KARA has already had 3.2 million digital sales with only 3 singles. KARA's immense popularity in Japan means that the girls are likely to become the best selling Korean act in Japan.

KARA's 4th single "Go Go Summer!" has topped almost all digital sales charts. With the official figures coming out soon, the music industry is waiting to see if KARA can officially take the title of best selling Korean act in Japan.
